Sea Energy Centre: Deokjeokdo (Island), South Korea. This tourist island is reliant on diesel generators which do not meet its energy needs. The project involved detailed research about energy usage throughout the year, matching the need with renewable wave energy production and providing energy long-term seasonal storage to mediate between mostly winter energy production and summer energy use.
The masterplan project also proposes increased seaweed farming and fishing for greater resilience and a visitor centre.

Sea Energy Centre: Deokjeokdo (Island), South Korea. The visitor centre provides accommodation and encourages visitors from the mainland capital of Seoul to tailor their daily activities to energy availability, linking the two more strongly as people did before mains energy. This also fosters a sense of responsibility when they return back home to a capital which suffers mass blackouts during the hottest months when a reduced nuclear supply and increasing population cannot cope with sudden surges in AC use. A national increase in renewables would require a large-scale change of habits as most renewable energy is only available during the day, when domestic usage is mostly morning and evening, and also mostly during one season.

Cellular Honey Farm, Fez, Morocco: proposal for the historic Medina, including honey farms and botanical gardens
Cellular Honey Farm, Fez, Morocco: Section through honey shop.
Cellular Honey Farm, Fez, Morocco: masking tape structure study models and diagrams exploring possibility for using tubes for enclosure, shading, doors, planting and floors.
Cellular Honey Farm, Fez, Morocco: Diagrams exploring possibility of lofting same set of isocurves to create different enclosures across linear site.
River Landmass: experimental device to create a device which would draw a line along part of Battersea embankment as the tide comes in.
River Landmass: Taking on from the experimental device, a proposal for an additional landmass near Battersea Bridge,
London, was developed which would perform different functions at different tidal levels.

River Landmass: Timetable diagrams show pools filling and emptying, areas becoming submerged and fountains blowing.
River Landmass: Sketches show predicted deterioration of landmass over time and its integration back into landscape.
Blood Bank: proposal for a blood storage facility housed in the disused Kingsway Tramway, London. Pedestrians on their way to work are encouraged to give blood which is stored below-ground and cooled by ground-source heat pumps.
